Note:    

1. Visually disabled and Hearing disabled persons may also apply against the vacant posts in the above departments.

2.  The duly filled Registration form (available on the institute website), along with the supporting documents/certificates including identity proof, may be sent through email to deanfa@pec.edu.in on or before 15.01.2021 by 5:00 PM.

No application will be entertained after 15.01.2021 by 5:00 PM.

II. Qualifications:

Essential:

Engineering: M.Tech.(or equivalent Degree in relevant discipline)

Others : Ph. D in relevant Discipline

Common essential qualifications:

1. First class in all preceding degrees. (Currently, for non-Engineering disciplines, 55% is the requirement for preceding degrees).

2. Pre-PhD experience may be counted by selection committee only to the following extent: Only experience post Masters degree and before registration of PhD degree shall be counted. At most half of this experience or three years, whichever is lower, may be counted. Experience shall be counted only if it is academic/research job in a reputed institute/lab..

Desirable requirements:

1. Strong research record in terms of research publications in peer reviewed journals and high quality conferences.
2. Good academic record at the senior secondary school (12th class) level.

III. Emoluments: 

i)  Pay for candidates with Master’s Degree will be Rs.54,800/- (Consolidated)

ii)    Pay for candidates with Ph.D. will be Rs.59,800/- (Consolidated)

iii)  Higher pay may be offered to exceptionally qualified candidates at discretion of Institute Level Standing Committee & approval of Director, PEC.

IV. Other terms & conditions.

1. Maximum Age: 37 years.

2. The candidate should be a citizen of India. Transgender candidates may also apply.

3. Existing norms of the Government of India for age relaxation and other relaxation (if any) in reservation will be followed.

4. Reservation policy of the Government of India will be followed. The OBC non-creamy layer certificate issued by the competent authority which should not be older than six months from the date of publication of advertisement will be accepted as proof in support of claim as OBC candidate.

5. SC certificate, on the prescribed form only, issued by the competent authority declared by the Government of India will be accepted as proof in support of claim as SC candidate.

6. The posts reserved for Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) shall be filled as per the Government of India norms. The certificate, in the prescribed form only, issued by the competent authority declared by the Government of India will be accepted as proof in support of claim as EWS candidate

7. Visually disabled / Hearing disabled candidates shall produce medical certificate issued by competent authority in support of their claim.

8. The eligible  candidates will be called for interview and they will require to bring the following documents at the time of interview:

1. Original Registration Form.
2. Original Educational Qualification documents / certificates.
3. PAN Card (mandatory)
4. Aadhar card.
5. Caste Category certificate (SC/PwD/OBC),
6. Experience, Research Papers etc.

9. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

10. Number of posts may vary at the time of interview.

11. Director is authorized to cancel the vacancies anytime.
