ISTE

ISTE is a professional organization of engineering educators and educational administrators. It is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.

ISTE PEC Student Chapter is not merely a society but an inspiration for other organisations as well to move out of the gloom of pragmatic ignoance and search a better enlightened future. It arduously met its aim of exploring the hidden technical talents of its members in the year 2003-04 by providing them with numerous opportunities and offering their innovative ideas a real stage.

ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS
EUREKa: It was an intracollege technical paper presentation contest, first of its kind in the college, organized by ISTE PEC Student Chapter on 29th March 2003.
WEEKLY MEETINGS: We conducted around 15 meetings this year. The meetings included Technical Presentations, News Analysis, Group Discussions and feedback from the members.
INDUSTRIAL VISITS: We made visits to Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL), Panchkula and CSIO, Chandigarh. Both of these visits came on the earnest effort of Late Dr. R. S. Prasad.
TECH FEST'04: We organized a two day technical fest in the college which included design contest, software contests, mock interview sessions etc.
