All the P.E.C. Chess team Players (Boys and Girls) are required to contact the undersigned immediately for starting practice to participate in Inter Deemed University Chess tournament which is to be held from 3.02.2012 at PEC. Irregular players shall not be allowed to be part of Chess teams of the institute.

Inter Year Chess tournament is scheduled to be held as per given schedule. All the P.E.C. Chess Players who have been selected to represent their respective year in this tournament may report at the venue of the tournament well in time failing which walk over will be awarded to the opponents. Late comers will not be allowed to enter the venue of the tournament. Chess Kit would be available at the venue of the competition.

FINAL SELECTION TRIALS FOR CHESS TEAM (GIRLS) -11-12

Final selection trial to select Chess team for girls is scheduled to be held on 21.09.2011 in Drawing Hall No. 1 at 5.15 P.M. All the P.E.C. Chess Players (Girls) who are desirous of taking part in Selection Trial should contact Ms Joyti (7696739600) chess player and report at the venue of the tournament well in time. Chess Kit would be available at the venue of the competition. Chess team of the institute shall also be selected on the basis of this competition that may participate in All India Inter University and Inter Engineering University Competitions.

OPEN CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP-CUM-SELECTION TRIALS FOR GIRLS-11-12

Open Chess Championship for girls is scheduled to be held on 08.09.2011 in Drawing Hall No. 1 at 5.15 P.M. All the P.E.C. Chess Players (Girls) who are desirous of taking part in this Championship-cum-Selection Trial should contact Ms Joyti (7696739600) chess player and report at the venue of the tournament well in time. Chess Kit would be available at the venue of the competition. Chess team of the institute shall also be selected on the basis of this competition that may participate in All India Inter University and Inter Engineering University Competitions.
