PECFEST 6

PECFEST 6 was held from 6th Nov to 8th Nov 2009

On day1 of Pecfest 6, Padma Shri Chandra Mohan, Chairman Board of Governors, PEC declared the fest open at the inaugural ceremony that was followed by  Think India Think”-a panel discussion . "Groovz” the dance competition and “Glitterati”-the fashion show wowed one and all. The Chief Guest of the night was Mr. Dhanpat Singh, State Transport Controller, Haryana.

On day2 of Pecfest 6, the Dramatics team finished first in Rangmanch.  Eureka- the Quiz and Crochet- the Music Event saw an overwhelming participation from the crowd. The day came to a roaring end with the mother of all nights-The Rock Night, where ‘Motherjane’ made the crowds rock to their beats.
On day3 of Pecfest 6, the Crosswords (debate) finals were won by Lakshay from CCET and Nupur from PEC, while JAM was won by Vinay Satija from PEC. The Crochet finals were truly enjoyed by one and all. The Dramatics club of PEC stood 2nd in the competitions for ‘Nukkad Natak’ . The Star Night was enlivened by Slick and his troupe who gave way to the fusion band ‘Chakravyuh’. Star performers ‘Honey Singh and Baadshah’ had the crowd roaring for more. The Chief Guest of the night was Mr. Ram Niwas, Home Secretary, Chandigarh. Beating all odds, the students of PEC pulled off a fest that had it all-   drama, music, art, literary and technical contests.
