This organization was the first to provide broadband internet connection in the college. Previously before the introduction of Computer Laboratories for internet access for the students, the S.T.P.I. provided internet access to the faculty and students.

The Image CAD functions as a private organization in the Punjab Engineering College Campus. It serves the functions of providing specific computational facilities like AutoCAD, STAD Pro and various software products for the development of projects for the students.

It ranks as one of the top colleges of India which provide such a degree. It has been established by the name of LeCorbusier, the man who designed the city of Chandigarh.
