PEC University of Technology (PEC) and Getty Conservation Institute (GCI) interacted and explored opportunities, where both institutes can collaborate and work in the field of conserving/ preserving heritage museums and other monuments. The Getty Conservation Institute (GCI) is a world famous institute for conserving and preserving a number of historical monuments, museums and UNESCO buildings around the globe by advance conservation practices and situated in USA. It also has various supported field projects around the world to preserve cultural heritage.GCI team shared various projects carried by them around the world. Dr. ManojK Arora, Director PEC and his team also shared a number of projects related to environment, concrete and geospatial projects done by PEC and his team. He said "This interaction has laid the foundation for interaction between PEC and GCI for Academic and Research in the field of concrete conservation, preserving of heritage buildings and best practices to safeguard buildings of world importance". After the interaction, GCI officials visited Concrete and Structure laboratories and appreciated the facilities available in the institute which may be explored further for various joint projects.
