Alumnus Sh. Tej Jhamb (BE-Mechanical Engineering, 1959) visited PEC on March 06, 2010. During his visit he addressed the students of Metallurgical Engineering, Production Engineering and mechanical Engineering on a very important topic of “Lean Manufacturing”. Currently he does consulting services under the presumed name of TJ Associates in India. He has consulted various Auto parts supply chain manufacturers in the State of H.P. and Punjab. He has been a highly motivated, result driven, effective problem solver with dedication to superior service of over 40 years of uninterrupted experience in Automotive Industry in U.S. and abroad. His talk had been very impressive and had triggered a great interest amongst the students and the faculty attending the seminar.
